Pumpkin Patch '07

This year we did a family trip to a "real" pumpkin patch, rather than last years visit to the festivities held in the Wal Mart parking lot. Of course, everything is different and Waylon was much more engaged, and MUCH less willing to pose for photos with the pumpkins. I think the biggest hits were the trains--a model train at the pumpkin patch and a "real" train at the petting zoo next door. Waylon is really starting to get into trains, and when you ask him what sound a train makes he replies, "tooooo tooooo."

Waylon refused the stroller and wanted to walk with daddy to the pumpkin patch.
With only a quick glance at the pumpkins, Waylon bee-lined for the train set where we had to literally pry him away.

There were a bunch of gourds for the kids to play with and we had to be careful because Waylon kept swinging one around like a baseball bat. You know how horrible those gourd accidents can be!

I couldn't believe he let us pose him for this picture as a cat.
The smaller pumpkins were much more his speed.
