Due to lots of other friends having birthday parties on various weekends, we decided to forego the big party this year and encouraged Waylon to celebrate with his friends at school. Our big celebration was a trip to San Diego and Legoland, which will be posted above. On Waylon's actual birthday we brought pizza, cake, and balloons to his school for an outdoor party. He requested a Cars (aka Lightning McQueen) party, and we happily obliged. It was a great little party, and thanks to the efforts of Waylon's teachers it was super easy for mom and dad!

I love this photo of Bubba acting silly with his friends. He really loved having daddy at school in the middle of the day, playing football with the big kids.
