We left for Catalina early Sunday morning (7/2). As before, Waylon did great on the crossing. Later in the weekend, he blew us all away with his ability to sleep through the fireworks and drunk boaters with horns. The weekend was very relaxing, and with such great babysitters around Aaron and I were able to enjoy a hike and time just laying out in the sun. The entire Davis family joined the whole Brilhart family for dinner, and it was quite a challenge to get through a huge sit down meal with 3 kids. Times have definitely changed--this 4th of July was filled with lots of babies.
Waylon slept through the crossing to and from the Island
Waylon hung out (literally!) with Davis Gershon (and his dad, Randall). Waylon and Davis are the two newest members at Fourth of July Yacht Club, and we are predicting lots of hijinx for these two together at the cove in the years to come
Aaron's brother, Matt (left), took us on a death march on Monday. Actually, it was a lot of fun to scale a mountain then check out the insane views of Two Harbors
Waylon and I enjoy the King Kamei mei chair at the Harbor Reef restaurant. Ac tually, it appears that I was the only one enjoying it, and Waylon was totally freaked out by the experience.
The Grandmas, Judy & Josephine, entertaining Alexis and Waylon at dinner
The Brilhart and Davis families take a collective breath after a huge dinner with 3 very active kids
