On Tuesday (6/6) Waylon and I went down to San Diego to visit Jenn & Holden Fletcher. We had a nice afternoon swapping notes about life with our babies (FYI, neither of us have seen any dramatic changes since our boys turned 3 months!). Holden and Waylon have had 2 other play dates, but this is the first time they seemed at all aware of the other baby. They checked each other out and were smiling a lot--very cute. After we had lunch, we took the boys to Gymboree. It was fun to spend the afternoon with our friends, and fun to see the babies enjoy Gymboree together. Waylon was so happy about it he thanked me by sleeping for almost the whole ride home--the best gift this mommy could ask for. Of course, he woke up just as we were exiting the freeway and proceeded to shriek his little lungs out for the last 10 minutes of the drive. Oh that Waylon, he sure likes to keep me on my toes!
