Waylon Turns Three!!!

February is all about birthdays for the Davis men. Aaron's birthday is the 17th; his dad, Ed's is on the 19th; and of course Bubba's birthday is February 23rd. What this means is that the entire month feels like a birthday party, and somehow all of the attention is on Waylon while Aaron and Ed get to enjoy a few bites of cake and maybe a gift or two. Waylon's actual birthday was on a Monday, so Sunday the 22nd we had an all-day family celebration. Waylon got to "play, play, play" all day. We were very excited to do gifts and cake after his nap, however we did not take into account that Bubba sometimes wakes up from his naps very grumpy, and that Sunday was one of those days.

Grandma & Grandpa Davis were waiting with mom, dad, and Avalon for Waylon to wake up from his nap. We probably should have waited for him to wake up, but we didn't. Oops. He was a bit out of it for much of the gift opening.

Dont forget it was also Grandpa Ed's birthday. Here he is with his grandbabies. It only took about 300 photos to get one with all of them looking at the camera (Ed is as bad as a toddler about looking away for photos).
