In early January, we had Sydney over for breakfast and a playdate while her parents got some rest and bonding time with Sydney's newborn sister, Ivy. While it may sound like we were being nice and giving Sydney's parents a break, it was actually a selfish way for us to entertain Waylon on a Saturday morning. He is always rowdy but never wants to go anywhere so Aaron and I are practically standing on our heads trying to keep him happy and entertained without resorting to Fireman Sam on TV. Anyway, Waylon and Sydney always play well together, and even when they are getting into trouble they are usually very cute so its hard for us to get upset.

Bacon tongues are always a good way to kick start your morning.

This one is a little hard to see, but they are sword fighting with pom-pom branches. Its more like a game of tickle with really long leaves.

They got out the tools and went to work on the playhouse.
"painting" the playhouse with sidewalk chalk.
