UCSB Rowing Reunion

Every 5 years the UCSB Rowing program has a reunion. In early February a few of us motivated and headed to Santa Barbara to represent the early '90s women's rowing teams. It was an awesome girls weekend, but it was shocking how much slower I am at recooperating from late night party sessions. I have five years to start "training" for the next reunion (and there better be more of you gauchos there!).

Amy Kelly, Nicole, myself, and Jo were outstanding representatives for the '90's women...if I do say so myself. This was at the cocktail reception--the beginning of a verrrrry long evening, which included a jacuzzi break-in at the hotel.
Jo Rae motivated us to get our booties out of bed and up to the lake the next morning.

She even forced us all to row. Nicole and I were the bow pair (at the rear of the photo) and were in hysterics the entire time because we were so out of shape and could barely get our oars in and out of the water. We were a very sad sight.
