Waylon's Lego Star Wars Party!!!

It wasn't just a Lego party, and it wasn't just a Star Wars party.  It was a Lego Star Wars party.  We went a bit overboard for Waylon's 5th birthday since it felt like a big milestone.  He had a blast with his friends, and has finally overcome his fear of bounce houses.  We hired a hot dog cart, a balloon/face painter, and a real Jedi.  Everything was a hit...except the Jedi.  The kids were not very into the "Jedi Academy" but Waylon did have fun chasing him around the house and having light saber fights with the Jedi.

The cake required lots of Ebay bidding and obsessing, but it was fun for Waylon to have so many lego toys to play with after the party.
The backyard, pre-party.  The hot dog cart was in our front driveway.
The kids tried out the bounce house slide before the party.

 Getting into character.
The parents enjoyed adult beverages while the kids bounced....and bounced...and bounced.
