The kids' school kicked off summer with a Hawaiian Day in early June. It was typical June Gloom in South OC, but it made for a cute photo op. If Waylon senses that any outfit is approaching a costume, he refuses to get dressed. I tried to play it cool, but he saw through my ploy. After many tears, I convinced him to take pictures and ride to school in his shirt. I secretly hoped that he would forget about our deal, but no dice. The second we got to school he insisted on changing into a "play shirt." At least Avalon is young enough to be dressed up like a doll.
