On Sunday, October 12 the Davis clan set out for some pumpkin patch fun. While I love living in Southern California, its a teeny bit hard to get in the spirit of the fall season when its super sunny and hot. However, the kids did not know the difference and loved visiting the petting zoo and tolerated my photo shoot at the pumpkin patch.

Waylon gives Avalon a carrot to feed one of the guinea pigs. He loves the idea of the petting zoo, but constantly has his head on swivel, afraid he'll be attacked by a rogue bunny.

Avalon enjoyed/tolerated her first visit to the petting zoo.

Waylon liked to sit up on the bench and drop carrots to the animals below. Much safer.

Avalon has become quite the chatty Kathy, and is constantly trying to talk these days. She is clearly telling me a riveting story in this photo.

Waylon introduced Avalon to his favorite part of the pumpkin patch--$.25 car rides!

Avalon loved cruising with big brother.

We all get to pet a goat. Fun (and hygenic)!

Waylon got scared of the goats so I tried to hold him while Avalon hung on in the baby bjorn. Who says you dont work out with kids? I was carrying around about 53 pounds in this photo.

We finally got away from the goats and made it to the pumpkin patch. Avalon and Waylon both loved the mini pumpkins.

Avalon is dreaming of all of the fun halloween costumes mommy will be forcing her into over the next few years.

I think they are rubbing the pumpkin for good luck.
