I am happy that Aaron can finally help with transportation to and from school, and Waylon is thrilled that he is in the Jungle classroom with one of his best buddies, Sydney. At first all he could talk about was Sydney, and I was afraid she would get upset because he was too clingy. However, he has made some other buddies in the class and is doing well. The biggest transition has been for Aaron and I. We LOVED the program at Tutor Time, and we are having to adjust to a much more laid back teaching style. Lets just say that so far Waylon has been spending a lot of time playing with blocks and trucks, and a lot of time avoiding the art and science centers at school. We had our first parent/teacher conference and asked them to give an extra "push" to get Waylon to participate in other activities. Without a lot of encouragement, our little guy doesn't like to break out of his comfort zone. Hmmm?? wonder where he gets that? (Aaron)
Sydney was nice enough to meet Waylon on the first day of school and take him in and introduce him to her friends. Thank goodness for Syd!
Bubba was a teeny bit shy getting ready to meet his new friends.Once he was inside, playing with new toys, he was all smiles.
