Aaron's mom hosted a large dinner that was delicious with the usual family friends. In addition, Aaron's friend, Chris Flynn, came for a visit and we also hosted two Marines from Camp Pendleton, who were the absolute nicest guys in the world. It is hard not to appreciate everything you have when you are talking to two 19 year olds, who are headed off to war in the next few months. Justin is from Dallas and Mason is from Iowa. They were wonderful, and we were so happy to be able to celebrate the holiday with them since they were so far from home. Living this close to Camp Pendleton can be tough because we see all the young kids around town, who you know are just about to leave or are just returning from war.

Most of the gang that came together for Thanksgiving
Waylon woke up just as turkey was being served, and he did pretty well throughout the meal. I cant believe it was a year ago when Waylon enjoyed one of his first "real" meals of jarred turkey and jarred sweet potatoes.
