On December 29 Aaron and I decided we should throw a New Years Eve party for the kids. We wanted to ring in the new year with Rio de Janiero at 6pm. Several friends and neighbors came by to celebrate. It was a lot of fun with the kids enjoying hot dogs, playhouse fun, and cookie decorating. It was an early evening. I think everyone was gone by 8pm. We then continued the celebration with our neighbors, the Gratteaus. Our kids stayed up past 10pm--wow! We had a great time and hope to celebrate many more kids' new years eves.
