Thanksgiving 2010

Aaron's family has been celebrating Thanksgiving with the Brilhart and the Beckers for years.  Apparently Aaron and I have finally been deemed old enough for hosting duties.  It was a big deal (with much input from Josephine), and it turned out great.  The best part is that there were other kids, Jack and Alexis, in attendance.  All of the kids loved playing together!  Too bad they live in Colorado, but we hope to see them this summer in Catalina.  We had lots of great guests, including 2 Marines from Camp Pendleton and Aunt Tina.  It was a great day, and helped put into perspective what we are most thankful for--friends and family.

Aaron and Chris Brilhart in front of the tent that Josephine had erected in our backyard.  It looked like we were having a wedding reception, but it turned out to be a good idea.  We were all warm and cozy inside the incubator.
Grandma Brilhart, Aunt Tina, Mark Schubert, Stan Becker, and Judy Brilhart.
Avalon and Alexis were kindred spirits.  They loved ordering everyone to push them on the tire swing.
Waylon loved running up our hill to fetch Jack's whiffle balls.  Waylon was in awe of Jack, who is about 20 months older than him.
 Jack was a super slugger!

Our Marine guests.  They were just babies, and were great to have join the fun!
Posing with the Marines just before they had to head back to Camp Pendleton.
The kids had fun doing Wii boxing.  Mommies and daddies were "thankful" for the late night entertainment.
