We spent yet another weekend at FJYC in early August. This weekend was a pirate themed party, and Avalon won the Best Pirate Costume award. We were very proud!
Aaron tries to get some extra zzzz's after the kids crawled in bed with us. It didn't work. Please note the Wal Mart sleeping bags and Tshirt pillow cases. We travel 1st class!
Saturday morning was a kids competition at Two Harbors. We were very excited until we realized our kids were by far the youngest. They did not quite understand what was going on as they waited for their team to start.
Waylon & Avalon were on the Sea Ray team. The only race they did was carrying M&M's on a spoon to a glass. Avalon refused, and Waylon only went once. Their older teammates were a bit competitive, so the kids wanted to head to the beach instead.
Aaron and Waylon enjoyed the FunCat. I think Aaron is furious that he did not invent this battery-operated machine himself.
Grandpa and Avalon chill on the sand. She wanted nothing to do with the FunCat.
