Watch Out! Waylon is Two!!!!

Waylon's second birthday came and went without a lot of hoopla, but it involved food, presents, and cupcakes so it seemed to be a HUGE success from Waylon's point of view. The day started with a visit from Wendy Levine, who brought Waylon balloons, which he would not let go of, and his first pair of Mickey Mouse ears, which he allowed Wendy to wear. The afternoon was filled with lots of playing with daddy and generally allowing Waylon to do whatever he wanted. We had a nice time with cupcakes and gifts with Nick Trevino, who was visiting. Overall it was a nice day, but we definitely took advantage of the fact that Waylon has no real concept of birthdays.

Waylon was very particular about his cupcake eating, focusing on icing removal rather than taking a bite of the whole thing. Very refined.

Waylon enjoys one of just a few gifts that we got at the last minute. He doesn't really care what he gets, he just cares that it has wrapping paper that he can rip off.
